Le funzioni del tecnologo, nell’ambito delle direttive e coordinamento del Responsabile scientifico del progetto Responsabile della Unità Operativa “Computer Science and Electronic Sensor Unit”, consistono nel supporto tecnico alle attività previste per il progetto METROFOOD-IT (attività A3.5, Unità Operativa “Computer Science and Electronic Sensor Unit", responsabile Prof.ssa Ilaria De Munari).riguardo al miglioramento di un dispositivo elettronico modulare e
portatile che acquisisce ed elabora i segnali generati dalle piattaforme di rilevamento per e-tongues e e-noses sviluppate nell'attività A3.4 del progetto e della sua integrazione, in una visione IoT, con un'infrastruttura cloud per fornire servizi a supporto della digitalizzazione del sistema agroalimentare per la qualità e la sicurezza alimentare. In particolare, si occuperà di:
• definire l’architettura del sistema;
• individuare i dispositivi (FPGA/Microcontrollore) più opportuni per il miglioramento del dispositivo esistente;
• progettare le schede hardware necessarie;
• scrivere il codice opportuno per il dispositivo scelto (FPGA/microcontrollore);
• caratterizzare e testare il dispositivo progettato.
E’ inoltre richiesta una buona conoscenza della lingua inglese.

It is called for a public selection for the recruitment of n. 1 technologist pursuant to art. 24bis Law n. 240/2010 of II level, with fixed-term employment contract, with full-time hourly commitment, lasting 22 months, with remuneration corresponding to Cat. D, economic position D4, of the current CCNL of the Sub-Fund, financed under the PNRR, as part of the specifications indicated in the introduction, with remuneration corresponding to Cat. D, economic position D4, of the current CCNL of the Sub-Fund, as part of the Project "Strengthening of the Italian Research Infrastructure for Metrology and Open Access Data in support to the Agrifood" / "Realization of the National Research Infrastructure for Metrology and open access data in support of the agri-food sector" - (METROFOOD-IT) – Scientific Director Prof.ssa Ilaria De Munari - at the Department of Engineering and Architecture-, con Codice Progetto U-GOV PNRR_METROFOOD IT_2022_DEMUNARI e CUP I83C22001040006 Codice Rif. 2023tecT002.
The functions of the technologist, within the directives and coordination of the Scientific Manager of the project responsible for the Operating Unit "Computer Science and Electronic Sensor Unit", consist in technical support to the activities planned for the METROFOOD-IT project (activity A3.5, Operating Unit " Computer Science and Electronic Sensor Unit ", responsible Prof. Ilaria De Munari). regarding the improvement of a modular and portable electronic device that
acquires and processes the signals generated by the detection platforms for e-tongues and e-noses developed in the A3.4 activity of the project and its integration, in an IoT vision, with a cloud infrastructure to provide services to support the digitization of the agri-food system for food quality and safety.
In particular, it will deal with:
• study the architecture of the system;
• identify the most appropriate devices (FPGA/Microcontroller) for the improvement of the existing device;
• design the necessary hardware boards;
• implement the appropriate code for the chosen device (FPGA/microcontroller);
• characterize and test the designed device.
It is also required to have a good knowledge of English.
