According to current regulations, it is possible to simultaneously enroll in two higher education courses within the same university or belonging to universities, schools or colleges of higher education with special regulations, including foreign ones according to the following procedures.
For the academic year 2025/2026, it will be possible to send application for dual inscription:
- For bachelor's, master's and single-cycle degree courses starting from June 16, 2025 respecting the deadlines of individual courses of study as indicated by Study Prospectus.
- For master's, specialization schools and PhD programs, it is possible to send application until April 30, 2026.
Inscription for two courses
To be able to submit an application for concurrent inscription, you must have University credentials, which are obtained at the end of the Registration
Subsequently, access your personal page Esse3 and select Secretariat - Requirement Evaluation Procedure - "Application for concurrent inscription activation a.y. 2025/2026". For simultaneous inscription activation for first-cycle degree courses - second-cycle degree courses,the first application window will be open from June 16, 2025 to July 31, 2025. Additional windows are planned thereafter.
In order to allow the appropriate Commission, the evaluation of the possession of the requirements and compatibility between the chosen courses will be necessary to attach to the procedure:
- Filled Form A/27 (Form A/27)
Attachment self-certification of payment for the current degree course for the a.a. for which you intend to apply for dual enrollment for the purpose of comparability of the academic years of reference (Certificate inscription other CdS)
- Regulation where the type of attendance is specified (Certification of obligations attendance)
- Attachment of study plans where the SSDs of the educational activities of the courses of study are made explicit for the purpose of the 2/3 comparability analysis (Career University)
Document of identity (front and back)
Following this verification, all information regarding the procedures to be followed will be provided to the student.
Double inscription renewal
To renew dual inscription (years after the first one), you need to go to your personal page Esse3 and select Secretariat - Assessment Test - "Renewal of contemporary application for inscription a.a. 2025/2026".
You can apply for renewal from 21/07/2025 to 31/12/2025.
You will need to attach to the procedure:
- Filled out Form A/27 ()
Certificate of inscription to the other Course of Study
In case of withdrawal from one of the two courses of study, you must send notice to doppiaiscrizione@unipr.it
Limitations
If you intend to enroll in two first-cycle degree courses, second-cycle degree courses or single-cycle degree courses, even at more than one university, school or special-order college, these must not belong to the same degree class and must differ in at least two-thirds of the educational activities.
If you wish to dual enroll in two different courses of study, you must first verify that you possess for each of the courses the qualifications and access requirements required by national law and the educational, University Regulations and individual course units.
In the event that one of the two courses of study has compulsory attendance, you may only enroll in a second course of study that has no attendance requirements for activities other than laboratory and internship activities.
If the two courses are scheduled number you must be placed in a useful position in the rankings of both courses.
University Master's , thethe specialization course for the support of pupils with disabilities and the non-medical specialization schools are compulsory courses.
PhD programmes are full-time, exclusive courses, Medical Area Specialization Schools require a commitment of at least 38 hours per week. Attendance at a Master's, PhD, specialization course for support of pupils with disabilities or Specialization School is therefore compatible with a non-compulsory attendance course.
NB: Compulsory-attendance courses are those courses that necessarily require a percentage of attendance of teaching activities regardless of the mode of delivery of the teaching activities (online or in-person)
Grants and right to education
The annual tuition fee for enrollment at the University of Parma will be determined on the basis of the following criteria:
- of Merit: only CFUs accrued from 11/08/2024 to 10/08/2025 (at least 10 cfu for the second year and 25 CFUs for those enrolled in years after the second) are considered;
- of Seniority: years of inscription at the University of Parma are counted (course transitions do not reset seniority to zero);
- of the Scientific Disciplinary Scope of the Course; of the ISEE value (application to be filled only once on the ER.GO from 4/07/2025 to 4/11/2025 h. 17:00).
The Regional Tuition Fee will be payable only once in the case of double inscription at Universities in Emilia Romagna while it must be paid twice in the case of double inscription at Universities in different Regions.
The benefits for the right to education are provided for a single enrollment.
A student who simultaneously enrolls in two courses identifies one of the following inscriptions as the reference to access the right to education benefits.
A student already enrolled cannot identify the second inscription to access the right to education benefits.
