Parma, 14 gennaio 2026 – “Esprimo preoccupazione e grande sconcerto per quanto sta avvenendo in Iran”. Così il Rettore dell’Università di Parma Paolo Martelli, che aggiunge: “Le immagini che vediamo in queste ore, e le notizie che leggiamo, purtroppo danno un’idea molto concreta della drammaticità della situazione. Desidero manifestare vicinanza e profonda solidarietà alle studentesse e agli studenti iraniani dell’Università di Parma e alle persone loro care in un momento così difficile, ribadendo fermamente la condanna di ogni forma di violenza, di restrizione e di violazione dei diritti umani”.

Parma, January 14, 2026 – “I am deeply concerned and greatly dismayed by what is happening in Iran”, said Paolo Martelli, Rector of the University of Parma, adding: “The images we are seeing in these hours, and the news we are reading, unfortunately give a very concrete sense of the gravity of the situation. I wish to express my closeness and heartfelt solidarity with the Iranian students of the University of Parma, and with their loved ones, at such a difficult time, while firmly reiterating my condemnation of all forms of violence, restriction, and violations of human rights”.
